Monday workouts are usually my favourite time of the day – because Monday’s suck! But today was hard. I felt very unmotivated but I did it. And I am proud of myself. Most of the determination to just do it came from Ellen. She chose what we did so I just had to do as I was told. On the days when motivation just isn’t there I find it helps to have someone else telling me what to do – whether it’s Ellen or following a video!
We followed a Whitney Simmons Arm Workout from her Instagram page – we love her! She seems like a wonderful human.
I also find that having a routine during the week really helps me on days when I cannot be bothered. I have never been able to workout in the mornings… It takes quite a lot of willpower to walk down the stairs and make a cup of tea – let alone go for a run or do a workout! After sitting around in front of the computer all day though I can do anything so I workout around 5 or 6 pm depending on when I finish work. That’s what works for me. I can’t wait for this lockdown to finish so my friends can come over to train too! Training with friends is so much better than on my own!
