I would like to introduce Foxy… he’s a Purple Fox from the New Forest. They are very rare and extremely shy. Foxy comes from warmer climates so the cold english weather is a bit too much for him and he wears a jumper, scarf and mittens whenever he is out of his burrow.
He is made from wool I had left over from other projects and using a pattern from my new book – Pica Pau.
I have been crocheting for years but this little guy taught me how to do tapestry crochet. It involves carrying two colours with you along the row so you can change colour easily. Love a new skill.
